Screenings starts at 9.30am and end at 8.00pm with short refreshment breaks throughout the six great days of world class film exhibition.
Screening also takes place at designated places in informal dwellings and up-market arts centres around Nairobi.
The festival opens with film screenings throughout the first day of the festival, and is officially opened the same evening at an elaborate opening ceremony that involves introductions, speeches, messages, presentations and performances
The closing ceremony, in the evening of the last day of the festival, is a gala that involves presentation of awards, certificates, and performances.
