Lola Kenya Screen

THE WISE BRIDE, a film made by children during the Lola Kenya Screen 2007 film production workshop is set to screen in Mexico at the La Matatena-organised Festival Internacional de Cine para Niños (.y no tan Niños) August 11-16, 2009.Conceived, written, shot, animated and directed by Layla Satchu, Aysha Satchu, Alexandria Ngini and Flora Wanjiru under the guidance of Maikki Kantola, THE WISE BRIDE shows that when more than one suitor competes for a woman, only the ingenuity of the maiden carries the day. This film is one of three on the AFRICAN FOLK TALES ANIMATED compilation.
